It is indeed insane right now. My friend at work posted his Taco for sale on CL as well and also got about a million calls from only dealers in an hour. All the offers where over what he paid for it and it has twice the mileage from when he bought it. He didn't pull the trigger with a sale yet but he really wants a Tundra so I think its only a matter of time.

Dealers seem desperate right now so if you happen to have a Tacoma or Tundra taking up space in your garage that you don't need any more it is time to sell lol.

The used car market is like the housing market. My wife loves it since she's a realtor. The problem is you can make a killing selling a car or home but you will pay more for another. If you don't need another car right away or can wait once the market cools off, it's a great time to sell.

Congrats! Tundra guys have been saying the same. It seems like the newer they are the more the price has inflated. I did sell my 08 Tundra for a few grand more than I thought it was worth a year or two ago. I’m picking up a Lexus ISF today for a “normal” non-inflated price.

I also threw my 96 ext cab on Facebook a couple days ago and had it sold in under 10 minutes. 23 messages from interested parties in under an hour and a half.

I've had people wait for me on the wal mart parking lot just to ask me if I'd be willing to sell the truck. I was polite the first couple of times it has happened, just saying not in the market to sell, then it keeps happening and I get a little bit annoyed now. This thread got me thinking how much I could get for my 2014 DCSB 4x4 sport with 80k miles. Bought it for 22.5k 2 years ago.

Probably close to 30k at this point
I originally put mine on CL for 32,500
Within 6 hours it was up to 34,600
I paid under 28k from a dealer in March

I have an '11 Off Road with only 66k miles. Aside from the begging letters I get from local dealers I have had strangers come up to me in the Home Depot lot and ask if I was thinking of selling. Very crazy times !

I paid 29K for my 2018, drove it for 2 years, just this week traded it and the dealer gave me 30K for it.
