I live here in northern connecticut. One dealer i was at when looking at trucks told me its our responsibility to keep the undercarriage of our vehicles clean of road salt at least once a month so they stay free of rust.

Brought my 2019 Tacoma XP predator edition in for the fuel pump recall as I speak. Noticed a thread that the new fuel pumps wouldn't be out till this September. They are already out. I'm at Toyota of North Charlotte NC.

This is the longest , not yet recall in history .
Disappointed with toyota on the handling of this recall .
Maybe they’re waiting on some lawsuits to come their way to
    Expedite the recall

Let me know how it goes, I have an appointment at the same place next week. They told me to bring it on with 1/4 tank of gas in it. I’ve had no issues with mine and not really looking forward to it lol

David, It took them about 2 and a half hours to replace the pump and a 15 point inspection and rotation. Not bad.

Haha true but a timely revival for me, see my post above :D
I’m thinking my dealer has had plenty experience replacing these pumps by now before they do mine. It’s been many months since I got my notice with “no fix currently available”. Got the official recall notice saying they had the fuel pumps available last week.

Sounds good, thanks for the feedback Jamie. I’m getting fuel pump, rotation, oil and filter change.

Mecklingburg county? I’m in Lincoln county not sure how much mine is. I’ve got the 2019 SR poverty package haha so hopefully lower. It’s the wife’s 2020 top of the line EX-L Accord that will be higher.

I was advised by my dealer that a recall was under way , and they would notify me when the logistics
And parts where available . That was six months ago .

Did mine a few weeks ago. I had my regular maintenance scheduled and asked them to do the recall at the same time. They had to order the parts, but otherwise no issue. They asked that I bring it in with 1/4 tank or under, because the tank has to be dropped to perform replacement.
