I'm still out & about in Idaho, back in civilization now. So far the only casualties have been a zip tie holding my fender liner up, my buddy's battery's in his cummins & some black bears.

man, idk if I wanna go back to PA.

My front zerk is the same. I removed the stock angled zerk and replaced with a straight one. I'm then able to access it with a 90 degree grease gun fitting that is shaved down a bit. I tap the fitting onto the zerk (carefully) then connect the grease gun to the attachment.

I ordered a needle. I'm going to just do it the slow way. My 90* flat wouldn't fit in there, even shaved down, and the needle was $10 vs a 90 degree straight that may or may not fit.

Was driving down a pretty rough road and found out how much my cabs pinch welds actually contact the new sliders. Sounded like something way worse had I not just installed the sliders and knew they were close to touching. Now I am debating trimming the pinch welds and risking rust later down the road or biting the bullet and redoing my cab mounts with energy suspensions mounts and sliding in a toytec 1" body lift while I'm in there. :crapstorm:

Ya, just watched a couple videos. It's pretty straightforward, just take your time. Toughest part was stuffing the excess material inside the wheel

The first way for the auto tension on insertion otherwise you're tilting the drink toward you to get it to work

Been working on the suspension on the ‘13 I bought. The original leafs were shot! Crazy shot.
I found a pair of take-offs from an ‘18 that had about 5k on them and installed them last weekend. Much improved but still not right. Clunking shocks and stupid leveling kit. I can say that now because today I installed a Torch set of AAL and shocks. Having read 451F5952-6E80-4AF7-8B9A-BF3C31509E5A.jpg 27E49EF9-27DD-4DE2-A7BB-9E1BB0664A74.jpg a few of your posts regarding such matters. It’s Awesome! I’m super happy with it. It looks good and feels way better.
I found some ‘19 take-offs for the coil-overs and will pick them up this week. That will give me an inch in front and I expect the rear to settle to about an inch +. Thereby eliminating all of the leveling kit and have in a slight lift all around.
It is also worth mentioning that I added the Backflip tonneau cover and the racks as well as the nerf bars. This truck will be my work truck and everything else.

    quick story:
Thirty years ago I decided that working on my vehicles sucked. I swore off cars altogether until I could afford a “not a piece a of shit”. So first thing I bought when I got a real job was a Toyota pickup. ‘97 in 2001 (the last of that model) I drove and loved that truck for a while, then got my ‘05 Taco in 2012 (maybe) It lasted me a long time and just fetched $5800. I enjoyed the sense of being a grownup, and paying other people to work on my cars the few times I ever needed work. But I overpaid for the 2013 so the work I’m doing is to recoup some of that. All that is to say that I am really enjoying working on my truck right now. The sense of satisfaction is really great. Suspension is pretty cool shit and you guys have given me so much great information I actually get excited about these projects.
    Thanks TW.

    1) bolt check

    2) removed the swaybar relocation brackets so the reservoir brackets sit flush on the frame

    3) removed KING stickers

    4) new blind spot mirrors
