Hey everyone, first of all. Apologies if there is already a thread out there but I couldn’t find one.
I’m considering on getting mid height bed rack so that I can put a RTT. I currently have the Toyota bed cover and I think there are racks that work with the cover with the exception of not being able to open it? Either way..looking for some ideas in brands and pros and cons about having it with the cover or no cover like does it help keep your gear dry? Pics are welcomed but looking for brands and considering mid height.

KB Voodoo with the tonneau brackets. Mid height at 10". More like 12" with the brackets though. Started with the OEM bed cover and then changed to the Revolver x4. I can roll that up and get to all my gear with the rack still on.

    OEM

That looks good, you can’t unfold the tonneau cover right?

With the OEM tri-fold, no, you can't unfold it with that setup.

Ive got a Victory 4x4 bed rack, it mounts directly to the bed so in theory stronger than having tonneau brackets. You have to have a cover that mounts on the inside of the bed rails. I have a soft cover roll up and works great. The sides are sealed with weather striping and rtv.

So it seems that the best route to go if I want to keep a cover is to swap out the tonneau cover for a different
