I have the poverty-spec SR head unit, anyone know if the mounting posts are universal? That is my major hangup.

Yep, measurements of the posts and knobs in hand should be enough. From what I remember the posts on mine are just round and squished on the end to fit into a square clip.

I follow the tacoweide thread. I think the only diff is etune 2 to 3 with 2020+ I think etune 1 and 2 are fully compatible. Same story with Tombit mic adapter, rear connectors, Germes.

I was going to swap out the Head unit. I would keep it for those! Would match nicely with the Ti knob.

 

The most impressive radio knob I saw in the other thread was one with holes drilled (8 I believe) and very small fiber optic sleeves glued in so that you could see pinpoints of light from the front. The level of precision involved was fantastic.
