Random gas fired power plant.

 

Natural gas I suppose?

The local power plant here ran on coal for the longest time, a few years ago they bought the local gas company and ran a line to the power plant and converted it to natural gas. Can you say "monopoly"

 

They still burn the culm that was left over from the anthracite mining days here. Huge mountains of shit nobody wanted and underneath lies valuable land. They turn them into industrial parks. This plant is brand new and state of the art.

 

Dave got a text from his neighbor…
“Dave, I have a confession to make. I’ve been using your wife while you’re at work. I just don’t get it at my house. I hope you’ll forgive me.”

Dave is shocked. Then he gets another text

I used to drive past this house on my way to work. Oddly enough it's equal distance between my sisters and father's house, maybe 15 minutes away.

The property taxes alone are $3k a month, never mind heat and cooling something with that many sq feet. The crazy thing is the sales history. I think someone is throwing shit at the wall hoping it will stick.

 

It said it was recently completed and knowing the area it's probably priced appropriately. It across from Los Lagos which is a pretty rich gated community and a few celebrities that I'm aware of have lived there or may still be living there.

I'd actually be more concerned with the water bill than the heating and cooling. I'm sure a house like that just pays a consistent penalty.

 

Different strokes, i'd be content with 1000 sq feet of living space 500+ acres in the sticks. At the end of the day for me a house is just a place where you sleep, shave, shit and shower. I don't see myself being able to pee in the yard at that place.

My stepfather has a single stage press he inherited from his dad. It roughly takes an hour to reload 100 rounds, not counting the case tumbling time of course. It was good for me during the winter or bad weather, give me something to do, that was productive and saved a bit of money.

Dillon is amazing, I'd definitely love to get one of their systems and get back into shooting as often as I used to.

 

One thing I love about working remotely from Florida is being able to have some sushi, sashimi, some other snacks, and margaritas for lunch.



And of course, being near or on the ocean.

 

I would agree. Even for the area this is in, it sticks out like a sore thumb if you pull up street views.
