K&D Max Tune

I recently just got my K&D tune it made the truck drive totally different in good ways. Im curious to know over time does it take the truck time with the new tune to learn my driving habits ? The transmission seems to shift slightly harder then it did before. The Tacoma is a 2021 SR5 with only 1200 miles

 

Afaik, learning is turned off with the newer tunes.

 

1000 miles and it should be pretty well adjusted. That is a performance oriented tune so it holds gears longer which could account for what your feeling. Kdmax shifted very smooth for me.

All Tacoma's are different. My KDMax tuned truck shifts very smooth, almost can't even feel the shifts happen.
If yours is having harder than stock shifting, I can try some changes in the torque maps.
Give it a few miles to settle in and if it is not acceptable, PM me and the person who tuned your truck and we can work on a custom tune for your truck.

I’ll keep you posted right now I tremendously happy with tune it made 80 percent difference in acceleration and I feel the gear difference. My worry’s was just seen to shit a little bit harder but that’s probably because the truck is basically brand new. IT WOULD BE AWESOME IF YOU GAVE OUT FREE DECALS WITH THE TUNE
