10mm tail light bolt head

I've bought replacement bolts at auto parts stores in the past. O'Reilly has good assortments.

I actually bought my own sizing tool.

Over the years I've accumulated so many bolts & nuts, Now I spend my retirement sorting them out.

 

I know this was a while ago but do you remember if this size worked? Have the exact same problem right now. Also how did you get the broken bolt out?

Pretty sure this was it:

“10mm head bolt's are 6x1.0mm as for the length I'd say 20mm”

I just left it in there? There are extra holes? TBH it was long enough ago that I don’t remember. I could have possibly drilled it out with an easy out too.

oem part is your best bet. go to your local dealership.

 

Measure the length in mm. The thread is a standard 1.0 thread for a 6mm bolt (10mm is the wrench size, the bolt is referred to as a 6mm). There's fine thread available but those are not common at all and the difference would be immediately obvious to the eye. You won't have any difficulty matching it up at a hardware store, it's likely the only thread they offer in 6mm.
