    I'm in Houston too and got the Pro in 2020. The one thing I'd say is that the manual is probably a better idea if you had previous issues with highway speeds. I don't think the auto-trans 2020 and later is as bad as some of the previous gen3 years (or I got really lucky with mine). That being said, TX is not as off-road friendly as you might expect. There's really nothing closer than a couple of hours+ around Houston unless you know someone, which I don't, so ymmv. Overall, I love my truck but do wish I had gotten a manual.
