Hoping to track down some quality wiring diagrams to help me troubleshoot an AC issue on my wife's 06 Mustang. All I have is a Chilton's manual, which doesn't give connector or component locations, and is sketchy at best on the wiring colours.

    Thanks!

Thanks! Our local library would fit in a shoebox, and hasn't got resources like that.

I found that link, but for some reason, it's not matching up with my car.

Does the car have manual- or automatic temperature control?

    :notsure:

Which part of the wiring diagram isn't matching up with the car? More/fewer pins on a connector? Wire colors not matching?

Some wire colours & connector locations aren't the same, but I think I can probably muddle through. Thanks!

Dead short on fuse 49 - AC Clutch fuse. It's a relatively simple circuit, more looking for connector & splice locations, as well as a the physical location of the diode (I assume under the PDC, but not sure) to check.

Maybe the mag clutch is shorted. Have you tried disconnecting it and see if the fuse still blows?

Yes, that was step one. Blows instantly when connected or disconnected.

This is a 4.0 but it should help

Sorry about the crappy pic. The upper gray boxed area is the Bussed Electrical Center (BEC). Looks like the relay/diodes/fuses are all in there. The relay might not be serviceable if it's built into the fuse box

If you can't see the diagram I might be able to email it to myself and get a better pic to post

The short is probably in the BEC
