On another note, that guy has one sweet mullet. Healthy neck warmer there. Cougar probably didn't know where to bite

Nothing, just hoping you’ll post when you solo slay your own, personal, randomly-attacking, mountain lion with the Super Redhawk Alaskan you clearly keep tucked in your armpit, at all times.

(Don’t forget to pack some fresh basil and garlic to stuff up his flanks when you roast him over the campfire. Mmm mmm.)

I was never a fan of revolvers, but I might have to own something called the Super Redhawk Alaskan. You cant even say a name like that out loud without hearing the distant echoed screech of an eagle.

That’s alright, I believe you can eventually figure it out.

Somehow I doubt your beliefs are worth believing.

I’ve always wondered, at the meetings, do people have to sit through the reading of the previous minutes and old business, or does everyone just put on their bedazzled civil war costumes and jump right into the conga line around the activities room….?

I solo camp every now and then but then again I bring my dog with me and my edc for hikes. I've seen one mountain lion in my 20+ years of camping here in california. I've seen black bears but they are pretty skittish, now the wild animal you need to watch out for... fing deers those things kill more people than mountain lions and bears.

The deer you really need to watch are the dead ones you just shot. I’ve seen hunters excitedly run up to a downed deer and have the deer come back to life.

A good pair of running shoes and clean shorts, is a must.

You never know when you will have a close call.

All but guaranteed that you'll see bears while camping in Yosemite, on a nightly basis. Bear lockers for your food are mandatory. The bears there will peel your car open like a tin can just to get a stick of your Big Red.
The better half & i went camping in Mammoth once. Heard rustling/breathing outside our tent in the middle of the night. Woke up the next morning & found huge dusty paw prints on/around the trunk of our car. Fortunately for us, the bears in Mammoth aren't as smart as your average bear (haha - see what I did there?) in Yosemite.
I saw a mountain lion once while hiking in so-Cal. Saw him cross the trail 100-150 yards ahead of us. My head was on a swivel once we got to the area he was at!
