I emailed Lori today about a recent order and she replied very quickly and was very helpful. I have made a fair number of purchases from @Mobtown Offroad over the last several years and had some work done at the shop (CMC Chop) and my experience with Mobtown has always been a good one. I have found the quality of the products that they are making to be top notch and worth a little extra wait sometimes.

Oh dayum, that means I won't get my black Friday skids until next year lol.

 

Man.. I am super salty my 2021 came in just in time to miss the November sale. Ah oh well, guess I'm mall crawlin until the next sale when I can afford to protect the truck lol.

 

Don't fret. Once you place your order, you'll get a solid chance to wait much longer.

 

And then get a front hitch without the updated gussets that another member here had issues with. I guess that's why they never did answer if I was getting the new updates. Very unimpressed with mobtown. Ordered 9/7/20 received 12/22/20.

I did get something, something with a known issue that wasn't addressed.

 

But you didn’t contact us letting us know it was wrong so how was I to know it was wrong? The gussets weren’t intentionally forgotten. We will replace your unit with the correct one and have the faulty one returned. Please email us: team@mobtownoffroad.com or call us 833-MOBTOWN. Our shop hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00-4:30 EST.

 

So you have a QC issue then? Or you're just trying to CYA after the fact. I'm not sure if I want to wait another four months to give you guys another chance.

 

Has anyone received any updates on bumpers? I ordered my HC swingout on 11/7 and with the powdercoat the lead time was 16 weeks. That put the estimate at 2/26. I've tried getting in touch with someone but can't. I sent emails and tried calling but can't seem to leave a voicemail. Just trying to find out if I'm looking at weeks or months.

I have emailed team@mobtown several times, I cc'd joea@mobtown on the latest one and tried calling as well but it goes directly to VM (during business hours).

This was the last I heard from you guys on 01/06/21, "The parts needed to finish your order are on track to be delivered early next week, once we have your order in to powder coat we will update you and then once we have it back I will let you know so we can arrange pick up. Thanks."

Please provide some insight on this situation.

Parts came in. We are working on getting it through weld. We planned to finish it next week.
