Looking for good local shop in SLC to do some aftermarket work. Not keen on 4 wheel parts and fat bobs in Ogden is too far

    Any suggestions

I know a lot of people that drive up to Fat Bob’s. It’s a good shop.

it’s also in Layton, which is a bit closer than Ogden.

Newer shop just opened a little while ago. They have a Toyota pro known around the area. Check out Agility Customs.

Agility is Geoff Beers aka The Yota Guy, he does great work. There's also a shop in Draper, Star Boys Auto, that does good work and the mechanics are off-road Toyota guys.

How was your experience with Agility?

I am looking around for a shop in the SLC area, so I figured I would check back in with some folks from this thread.

Sorry just saw this. Agility is great! Number one recommended shop here in the SLC area. Give them a call and ask for Geoff, he will be more than happy to talk with you about your build and get a time scheduled to get your ride dropped off so they can begin working on it. They did my lift install, body mount relocation brackets, and my hammer hangers.

They also teamed up with JustsoLLC for tuning, and was able to work with Barrett on getting my truck tuned.

Once I get my gears, I will be going through them to get the install done, as well as a refresh on my tune for the new gears.

I wanted to follow up on Agility Customs. Long story short is they are a good shop, I would take my truck there again. I have to admit they did forget to reconnect the sway bar link, I and stupidly did not check before leaving. It destroyed the CV boot and ground itself down for a while when it came loose and fell down. When I called them they immediately admitted they forget to reconnect it and replaced the entire CV axle and link and gave me a loner truck for the day. Everyone can make a mistake, even one as basic as this, the difference between hacks and professionals is pros admit it and know how to fix it correctly. I would much rather have Agility work on my truck than any of the numerous other much less professional shops here in SLC.
