Anyone on here from RI that knows any good trails around the state? I'm here temporarily through the year and moving back to CO at the end of the summer but wanted to get out on trail before then!

Rhode Island does offer the opportunity to drive an “over sand trail” along the ocean. It requires a permit and there are plenty of rules and requirements.

There was a huge trail network out in burriville area. Someone died there over the winter messing around drunk. the next weekend there were a few arrests for firearms violations. Needless to say that area has become a go at your own risk.

heard rumors of someone getting arrested on a side by side out there, so go if you want but I’ll probably avoid.

otherwise you got Freetown Fall River state forest. Not much else in Rhode Island
