I just couldn't resist this pic a week after a full detail. The process used was wash and clay the truck, then polish it with CarPro Reflect on a white LC pad on my Flex 3401, followed by CarPro Essence on a green LC pad. I then applied two coats of CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0 twelve hours apart. Here's what it looked like after the second coat. Can you say "money shot?"

My truck I bought last week had some swirling in the paint (probably from PO going through automatics). First step for me was a wash, then clay. You'd be surprised what comes out of relatively clean looking paint. After I clayed, I washed again. Hit it with some CG Medium compound on my PC DA. After that decon wash again. Final step for me, since I wasn't going ceramic right away was to throw a coat of Collinite 845 on it. I let the Collinite haze, then buffed off with a new microfiber cloth, changing the cloth to a new side on each panel. Then I just let it cure in the garage over night. Results for me were night and day. I would post pics, but mines BBP and not relatable to this thread. Just figured I'd share my process.

I do mostly use Chemical Guys stuff, only because there is a store in town. And their stuff is decent. It's not a concourse truck, so I just wanted some real world protection on it. Also to ease the cleaning process later on.
