I have been waiting since first of February. Frustrating and I may go a different direction

I placed my 6112/5160 lust this past Monday. Dude on the phone told me they had the 6112’s in stock and were waiting on the 5160 that were overdue from 7/1. Hope he wasn’t jerking the dolphin…..
Hopefully you’ll get yours soon. Please post up when you get them.

My 6112's just shipped from Truckspring. Was told late July, so that was a nice suprise. 732 shipped. Now I just have to figure out if I'm going to do the needle bearing fix and ucas. Was hoping to just level the truck but the more I read might just leave the stock height. :notsure:

071BD41F-01F9-4FAD-8B8E-7B9CFE8FCD89.jpg Pretty stoked-waiting on shocks now. These arms feel beefier than the Icons I had on my 14 ACLB. Is there a general consensus, at what point in lifting the rear- when to add tapered spacer?
I’ve seen plenty that do and don’t when doing the 1.5 AAL.

I recently got a pair from shock surplus.
Was waiting since Nov on some ordered through Wheelers.

Appreciate that note, I'm looking to order a set as well. Did you have them pre install the coils? What setting are you going for on the clip? If you don't mind my asking.

I didn’t order everything pre assembled, I ordered top hats from rockauto and opted for the 650lb springs. I’m still unsure on what clip location I want. I’ve got a demello bumper+winch ready to go aswell as some take off trd pro leafsprings, ubolt flip and superbumps. I’d like it to sit level all said and done(debating 3 leaf aal). Just waiting on uca’s and whitline bushings then the games will begin.

I did the super bumps, that’s a nice kit. Why different top hats and bushings?

If you don’t order them assembled they don’t come with them. my lower control arm bushings are just worn out, whitelines are a one and done. After owning multiple bmw’s I try to do as much preventive maintenance as possible when I’m changing somthing lol

Got my assembled 6112’s and AAL
2 weeks after ordered. Just today, they shipped the 5160’s. Was a bit of a wait, but was a hell of a savings….if you can’t wait
Other wise, looking to get busy in the shop now.

I have a place in the local Denver area that have the 6112 and 5160s at least for my 09 DCSB They want a little over 1800 but that includes assembly, tax and alignment..Seems a little pricey. I am waiting to hear back from Headstrong. Wheelers told me mid September for shipment.

I think for 1800 that’s a solid deal for shocks with install and alignment. Headstrong had messaged me recently to get on the wait list for the aal but I didn’t get a date.
