So we had been using a solid steel bar as a pin in the front yard to tether the puppy to. As he grew he also got smarter and started to figure out how to get the cable up off the pin. No dramas, misso got a runner arrangement to string between a pair of trees to give him more freedom and provide better security.

Asked her if she wanted to pull the pin and she said not yet as she might want to keep using it for short time out front for him. I suggested that this was a bad idea.

She ran over it today with the lawn mower and doesn’t understand why the lawn mower sounds like a half of dozen maniacs banging on pots underneath it.
