Wear your helmet as a “mask” as well.

 

@GHOST SHIP wore his to a bank, so it should be fine on an airplane right?

 

They barely fit in a bag. My plan is to wear my mesh jacket and Kevlar jeans. Bring a backpack with an extra pair of clothes, clear visor and other little things. Then have my helmet in it’s bag with gloves stuffed inside. Hopefully my helmet counts as my personal item.

 

After that kid got popped for wearing his to Walmart I take it off. A local dispensary won’t even let you take the helmet in with you, they make you leave it outside.

 

thats no bueno.. Especially if someone has an expensive helmet

 

if you bring a skid lid helmet, you will be fine

 

I’m sure one of the flight attendants would come up to the flight deck and mention it to me if we had a passenger get on in full leathers. Not for me to have you removed or anything like that. It’s just we don’t get a lot of excitement, so the occasional weirdo kind of makes our day.

 

Just tell them you need the helmet for medical reasons so you don’t hurt yourself.

 

It would be like the stig wearing his suit everywhere. Talk about uncomfortable though in racing leathers.

 

I wore mine to my credit union.

 

I think it would be weird for you to not wear full racing leathers on an airplane.

I need something easily detachable. I hate having a fairing or windscreen around town but man these SD winds are beating me up on the highway ha.

Im not 100% in love with it. But it was $18. If it doesn't work, i can just remove it and throw away

 

Its clean.. nothing wrong with some dirt splatter over the Ducati words on the seat

 

Will let you know. I had to drill out some mounting holes already. It feels kinda flimsy. But it only took 20 min to install
