Help me out on trim packages

Does the 3rd gen have a TRD off road in a limited trim package?
Thought they were two different packages.

 

sr5, save the money and build it the way you want to. the OFF road is kinda of a gimmick. the skid plate sucks ass (sheet metal) the billies are way too soft. I wish I would have bought the sr5, saved the money build it right . but I also stole my truck with the price I paid.

 

No. You can, however get the Premium Off Road Package and Tech Package which gives you *most* of the Limited features. That's what I did.

 

Reason I ask is because I just seen one in a parking lot. Wondering if he's on here

 

What exactly do you want from the limited package that isn't on the off road? These trucks have a very healthy aftermarket for them, so if you're handy you can do most upgrades yourself for 1/3 of the cost.
Not including the moon roof though lol

Hmmmm, a little hard to tell from the distance but that is not an OEM "TRD OFF-ROAD 4X4" graphic. My truck is a TRD-OR and this is what the sticker/graphic looks like....

Looks like a Limited with wheels and an aftermarket sticker.

 

The OR is the only one with the Differential locker... Easily the most important offroad component for me.

 

2nd gen, but the mirrors and the door handles check out.
I'd say they've added the OffRoad bed decals.

 

Hmm, crawl control and locking diff are gimmicks? Unless you're rock crawling the off road does actually offer a nice entry point with some save-your-ass-tech for those who are just going to drive gravel, sand, mud, and maybe hit some whoops here and there

 

That's a limited w/ a TRD decal or a TRD that's had limited badges & trim pieces added.

 

Unfortunately (but not surprising), in order to get factory "leather", heated seats or sunroof you must get a trim higher than SR5
