    Who did the "misc repair" on Apr 21st? There should be a basic shop warranty depending on region (like 90 days or 10000 miles).

    "As is" means exactly that. Your fault for not getting it inspected by 3rd party before buying

    "AS IS" is your burden as soon as you sign the papers. Your only path is IF you purchased a warranty on the truck.

    Suggest a local tranny shop to diagnose and give a quote for repair. A replacement reman tranny should cost less.

    Try to find a wrecked one you can get the tranny off of. Swap in driveway/garage. Cheapest solution. But “as is” always is a red flag to me. And I don’t think you have any recourse unless they give a shit about their reputation and decide to make it right.
