2DR 2WD STD Driveline

    Perhaps I need to look again, but my Tacoma driveline only has TWO Universal Joints and no visible center support. (carrier bearing)

    Its possible a prior owner replaced it with something different, but that is what I see in a 2005 Standard Cab, 2 wheel drive 2 door 4cyl. Perhaps a bit dodgy, but the front transmission u-joint has a grease fitting and has no play. The rear has no grease terk and has some play in both directions. I plan to replace it.

    Any thoughts on this. My manual only describes a drive shaft with a center support. I don't see any mention of what I appear to have.

    if its a regular cab you have a one piece driveshaft due to the shorter wheelbase.
