Healing prayers to you Dave. Several years back my Father developed a tick born disease called anaplasmosis (HGE). Dropped his red cell blood count, docs couldn't diagnose this. Finally did just in time to save him. We almost lost him and to this day I swear he is not quite the same. But he is here thank the Lord! Do what your doctors tell you....

Yikes! Hope you're OK and recover quickly. I really despise ticks!

I've heard about ticks in the south causing Alpha-Gal Syndrome that makes you allergic to red meat.

    Stay safe out there everyone!

There are a lot of posts that you cannot like, but want to indicate your condolences or support or whatever the case may be. Could the be a 'can't like' or 'got your back' button added to the 'like' and 'Multi-Quote' area?
    Thanx

Hope to hit the South end of Nockamixon, or 'The Dead Sea' as some call it.

Would love to get on the Delaware, but don't go solo on the river.

I’m assuming you have a boat? Kid and I love going to leisure lake with our kayaks… love fishing from a kayak. Been a long time since Iv been at knockamixon lake… lake tohee was fun until it get super weedy . We also fish 2 ponds near my brothers place in Quakertown. Right on Allentown road about a mile or so past the west swamp church…. Some big bass can be pulled out Texas rigging a worm… filled with Lilly pads the one pond is….

Thanks for the thoughts, prayers and well-wishes. I'm improving rapidly, already home, feeling much better. Doxycycline is incredible stuff.

Also thanks for seeing the heads-up! My early symptoms were so far from Lyme that nobody even thought to look at me for a bullseye. Took two trips to the ER and an overnight stay to get it figured out. I probably have BOTH Lyme and erlichliosis in fact. Yay me lol.
