    Thank you, not much anybody can do.
    Insurance deductible will cover damages, hopefully renters insurance will cover the tools, but as it stands... I am out about 3k not including the 4k damage to the truck.

    The problem is.... this is not the truck they insured.
    It now has a 4 inch lif and many aftermarket parts. Which., are all still there, but maybe damaged. The struggle is real..

    I typically drop mine on the floor board out of sight if you look in the open window. Yeah, I am a pool guy. If I get my key wet by falling in a pool, the key chip doesn't work. Plus. 20 years of doing the same thing repeatedly at the same address, who would think. It's just a cluster fuck that I don't need in my life currently if you are going to steal it, make sure no one finds it. ASSHOLES!

    Hindsight says, soon as I noticed my keys missing... j should have pulled the battery and every fuse I could think of, but I ran in to use a cell phone to call numbers I couldn't remember. :annoyed::annoyed:

    Had my old truck stolen the same way about 6 months ago. Almost all of my tools and camping gear were in it. I was using it as a storage since I dont have a garage. Went to move the truck closer to my apt, left the keys cause I had intention to move it back to where it was after loading more things into it. Ended up passing out, woke up, went to work and someone snagged it right after I left. Found it a week later packed full of stolen shit
