They had 4 (including mine) at the dealer i went with. Mine was the showroom model, which i like.

Funny thing is that both my previous were black and i couldn't find a black 4 door 4x4 TRD at any of the 4 dealerships within striking range. I think that helped me cut the cord and i'm quite happy with the Magnetic Grey Metallic. (Who comes up with these colors?)

The grey has its own personality, muck like the Black Sand Peal and many of the others seem to. Chameleon-like depending on the outdoors light and conditions.

Yea, I find the the business men and the trendy types who live closer to the downtown areas aren't really into trucks, so the dealers I went to in these areas only had one or two Tacomas on the lot. Once you go to the surrounding suburbs you'll easily find a dozen or more Tacos & Tundras on the lot.

MGM is a good color. When it comes time to trade in my super white, I think I will go with MGM.

They are giving blue book and 1/2 for 95-2000 Tacomas with holes in the frames as a result of not having been properly rust treated during the manufacturing process.

When figuring the 'Blue book' value, all affected trucks are considered in 'excellent' conditon and they give you the highest of the three value categories, as in the value as though the dealer had reconditioned it and put it out for resale. In that respect, you are often getting more than 150% of its actual blue book value.

I received one of those white recall envelopes in the mail over the last 6 months or so, and it directed owners of the 95-2000 trucks to take them into the dealer to have them checked out. Whole process took less than 2 weeks from bummed to driving out with the new one with Toyota paying over $16,000 for it. I was also able to get mine for about 28,100 before taxes / title and a 0% loan that actually comes out to LESS (no kidding) than the amount borrowed by a couple bucks.

    Think that covers it.

ive only seen one other MGM taco where i live, but then again i live in the suburbs of NYC and i dont even see too many other 2nd gen tacos at all. and at the dealerships around me youll be lucky to see 1 or 2 tacos or tundras.

im pretty sure my next taco will be a double cab, i just liked how the AC looked compared to the DC. not that i ever really need the back seat but i think it makes more sense to have.

I've seen a couple other MGM's around Van, two DC, one other AC (plus mine makes 4)...I love the MGM. So far, mine is the only one with tube steps.
