    Hey All,

I have a 2020 Tacoma TRD PRO. I would like to install a Lil B’s Hybrid front bumper, and larger tires. I have been looking hard at the Westcott lift kit and the Icon 3 Leaf Progressive Add a Leaf Kit for the rear.

My question is, will the Wescott kit be enough for the added weight of the Hybrid bumper, and still have enough clearance for larger tires than the stock ones. Has anyone done this?

    thoughts?

Will know late July. I ordered Deaver stage 3 leafs for the rear and the westcott for the front. Keeping the Fox shocks. I have the SSO front bumper with winch (unknown lbs) and a wedge style camper (320 lbs.). I have seen others have success with this setup.

Planning on same. Have Deavers, Westcott front kit, and winch all sitting in the garage waiting for the lo pro bumper (C4 for me). Likely same late July timeline.
Have 285 Falkens on stock pro wheels currently.

@Koolman_Taco - interested to see how yours goes too.

I’m guessing you’re all stock with those 285’s? No aftermarket UCA? I was going to have them put 285s on my stock rims at the same time but was afraid that they would rub and the modifications would snowball. I was going to go with the Duratrack which is a true 33 inch which is about a quarter inch more than the Falcons.

Yes all stock. Rubs ever so slightly when compressed and turned 50-75%. Haven't sorted out where yet but suspect UCAs as fender lining appears unscathed. No issues with daily driving including reverse.

I too was worried about the modification rabbit hole, CMC, UCAs, etc -- not where I was wanted to spend my money.

If you haven't seen it yet (and for OP) there is a nice thread on this topic here:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/stock-trd-pro-with-285-75-r16-mts.536754

I'll bet some folks on there have commented on their true 33" experience, potentially even with your tire of interest.

If you plan on offroading - if it doesn't fit at stock height the lift doesn't matter. As soon as you articulate your suspension it negates the lift.

I'm installing the westcott kit (front) and headstrong offroad AAL pack in the rear second week of July. Hoping for the best. I will not be upgrading the tires yet, though. Got plenty of tread left on my 265/75/16 general tire grabbers.

How long did it take you to get your Westcott front kit from the time you ordered? I'm doing the same basic setup you are but with an Icon AAL and UCA. I've already got the Icon stuff but I'm waiting to get in the Westcott and wondering if I'll be able to do it next weekend.

I sent Westcott an email about the weight the kit could handle. They told me 150 lbs. So with the Lil B's bumper listed at 105 lbs + another 70 lbs or so for a winch, Im not sure its really going to
give me what I need. How different is the Westcott compared to something like a Revtek front preload spacer (+1.5") ?

Avoid spacer lifts if at all possible.

Preload is preload. I've been holding out for these springs for nearly a year but I'm over it. A small spacer lift that keeps the Fox 2.5's in the appropriate bypass zone isn't any different from a spring adding the same amount of preload to achieve the same lift.

I don't think that is entirely accurate but I get what you're saying about preload. I thought the spacers being mentioned were the kind that go on top of the shock, increasing the overall length of the shock which can cause problems.

That's fair enough and for sure I'm no expert. Just tired of waiting and willing to see how it goes.
