    What a weekend.

Put her to work yesterday hauling stone. Maxed out the towing capacity; first load two pallets and the last load was just one. Definitely felt the load and the difference between two pallets and one was definitely noticeable.

    Sunday funday.

    Hover mode engaged:

"Trail fix" removed and permanent fix installed:

@EatSleepTacos post from Friday got me thinking of how to, hopefully, prevent something like that from happening. So, I took the liberty of torquing the caliper bolts on both sides, to be safe, and marked them. Definitely going to keep an eye on it.

Next up was replacing the old LED license plate lights. Inexpensive and I'll avoid getting a ticket. The old ones were definitely dim and on their way out. Bench tested them to be sure. Not bad to replace every year and a half to two years or so; slight modification to fit into the Pelfreybilt bumper and it's done:

VIPMOTOZ Full LED License Plate Light Lamp Assembly Replacement For 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma & 2000-2013 Tundra Pickup Truck, 6000K Diamond White, 2-Pieces https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N8M7D66/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_ND2WRWWQ1P42TW472WJC?_encoding=UTF8

Next, installed my OBDII port splitter. Got the idea from a @boogie3478 video. I can leave my scangauge installed without having to remove it to scan the truck. Tucked the unused end up and easily accessible for the mechanic or the department of transportation:

    Right Angle OBD2 Splitter Y Cable... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07K6MWQTB?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Next, cleaned and sharpened the chainsaw. Going to take her in to Ace at the end of the year for a full overhaul and tune-up. By far the most cutting I've done with this thing. Love it and need to keep it running like a top:

    0E580200-D9A9-40C7-9490-A2BCCF01D65B.jpg

Last up was cleaning up the BAMF LCA skids. WHAT A MESS. Like the gas tank skid last year, CHUNKS of steel and dirt came off. Nothing crazy to where I would question running them again. Since they're only skids, I didn't waste too much time cleaning them up and getting them prestine. If it was something more important, I would spend more time on it. Considering how long it has been since they were installed, they are in pretty decent shape. Really a testiment to the build quality of @JLee products. I'm getting them painted up with Rust-Oleum rust barrier right now. Plan is to coat the inside with Rust-Oleum high performance enamel and coat that with anti-seize. The outside will just be Rust-Oleum matte black paint for ease of touchups.

Fucking Midwest man...you can understand the full front end overhaul. 9 years takes it's toll.

Going to attempt to do a better job keeping up with it.

Next bigger project is going to be addressing the sliders. Not sure exactly what I want to do with those yet. Considering moving from weld on to bolt on but not entirely sure yet. I wish I had a welder myself or knew someone that could assist with those types of projects and was closer. I'll do my best to clean these up and repaint them.

Been thinking about investing in a welder and teaching myself/Youtube education...

That’s how I learned, all self taught. To be successful though, you need to really want to learn. I spent so many hours watching YouTube, practicing, watching more YouTube, etc. It’s such a great skill and tool to have though.

I don't doubt it. I have time in the evenings thankfully. Figured it would be best spent learning something new, something useful and something that, eventually, making some side money.

Fluid film on the LCA skids would likely help ALOT in preventing that.

Side work is where I make my mod money! It’s good stuff to do to pay for bad habits.

Definitely. Considering going to a fluid film party before the end of summer/fall. Few places/guys offer the service.

Indiana allows me to own stuff that makes me really happy. LOL. Not sure if you guys over in Illinois can have suppressors or not, but man, they’re nice

Ahhh the forbidden mute button...sadly no. Trying to figure out where to go that allows that as an option (not IN)

Plenty of states allow it. Just if you do get one. Be prepared for the mess of paper work. (I hear it’s not too bad these days with silencer shop doing their thing. )

    3" lift? A.R.E cap 285/70/17 moto metal 955 17x9

They are available in Wi. just never call it a "silencer", must be called a suppressor or they will walk away from you.

I was in a shop awhile ago and said silencer and the guy seemed to get pissed and corrected me, saying something about the law and wording or some shit.

I learned something similar in my CCW; it was taught by an ex-officer. Told us the difference between "gun" and "firearm".

Thats how i learned. Been welding for a little over a year now constantly. Have the titanium 125 from HF and love it! Im going to get a mig setup once budget permits but I've loved the 125. Done everything ive wanted it to so far with very good penetration on up 1/4.

    some samples of the machine
