Just have a question before I connect everything (and it works or fuses blow or worse). The wiring colors that Toyota used coming from the harness and going to the plugs that connected to the old radio are different than what is supplied with the new radio. In other words yellow coming out of the new radio goes to a plug with the install kit and when connected to the old plug would be connecter to (blue with yellow stripe) and new plug (red goes to old plug grey) and so on. Correct???

You are using a plug adapter correct?
Never Cut OEM wiring. The plug adapter should have the diagram

I would seriously not connect the orange / white wire as it has been known to burn out the dimmer rheostat.

    Gray is Accessory Power.
    Blue/Yellow is battery constant power.

So yes Gray would connect to red and Blue/yellow would connect to the yellow.

It all worked out correctly. Thanks for the help. At first it looked a little troubling that the wires were completely different colors.
