MBRP 3" dual exhaust. I'm not completely sold on keeping it yet. It's almost silent while cruising but the second you step on it it gets stupid loud.

Fair enough, I have the TRD exhaust and not a big fan. When on cruise control it sounds good but under acceleration it sounds rather weak. I would prefer something deeper and less high pitch, it is a V6 and not a V8.

I meant the led headlights were a factory option for the newer tacoma's meaning you could order it from the factory and have it built that way for around $400. Yes, the older Tacoma's require a custom wire harness that plugs into the existing factory wiring so the trd pro or standard trd led headlights can be retrofitted to work with the older 3rd gen tacoma's, but they cost almost $700 per headlight. ;) It's a major improvement over the standard halogen headlights that are comparable to lanterns on horse buggy carriages and require night time drivers to drive by brail and a healthy leap of faith. :burp:

Could happen at any tire shop. Depends on the tech really. Discount Tire really f'd up one of my cars in the past causing several thousand in paint and body work. Oh, they're a sponsor on here. Whoops. :argue::burp:

    Tried hyper dipping wheels.

Put dip release on middle TRD sticker thinking it'd peel right off.

    Wrong :(

Fortunately - I can pop the center piece off a figure something out.

Truck is all wired up now. Panel under the hood running ditch lights and chase light both tapped onto an ignition on circuit. Probably going to add an under hood light and light bar once a bumper is on. Panel at the back has a control push button style switch to prevent any cargo from turning on the toggle switches. From there I have bed lights, camp lights, and compressor. 20210613_193919.jpg 20210606_162332.jpg 20210606_162421.jpg 20210606_162427.jpg

Bed rails to acomodate the Softopper and give suitable mounting to a yet to be fabricated ladder rack. It needs to modular, so I'm thinking bolt on pads that accept tubular structure. . A removable rear cross bar is a MUST.

Oh! The extra lift to the Softopper height is gonna be welcome. I checked the cover wrap at the front, front corners and back. All Good to go!

Oh. an "old man" step was put on yesterday. Taco Accessory from the dealer $225. If it saves a trip to the ER it's more than worth it! ;-)

I also have the TRD exhaust and I actually prefer the sound of it to the MBRP or Borlas I’ve heard. I’m quite happy with it.
