Had an issue today with a 07 Tacoma prerunner low beam headlights both sides went out

    Have you checked fuses? Are both bulbs burned out? You'd be surprised how easy it is to drive for a while with one headlight out and not realize it until they're both out. Since they work in pairs it is entirely possible that they went out close to one another.

    Check bulbs, maybe 1 went out a few days ago and you didn't notice until the other one burned out..

    Check fuses
    Check bulb sockets for melted contacts

    Wiggle the combo switch around, move it slowly through its positions and see if the lights briefly come on.. the electrical contacts can get crappy inside the switch and work intermittently
