TRD Pro Grille for $140?

Where have you guys been buying them lately? Any issues with TSS after 2.5" lift?

 

Got mine from Empyre Offroad with the garnish for $160. Looks good enough for me and wasn’t terribly difficult to install.

I'm thinking of doing this to my 2017 Taco, been reading most of this thread and trying to decide on the madhornets or tacogarage, both close on same price but madhornets says free shipping, tacogarage is $42 to Canada. Just concerned about quality and fit of madhornets from the posts here. Also looked at Empyre but they don't give Canada shipping info.

Also question, I don't have the TSS since it's a 2017 so do I need the garnish? Looking at the grills on different sites, I can't tell. Madhornets looks like I do to cover the TSS mounting holes but tacogarage looks like I don't. Confused, lol.

Update, decided to suck it up and go with the tacogarage

 

i just installed the one from madhornets and if i had to do it all over again i would go elsewhere. The reason is because I had an issue that just shows a lack of quality control on their end. where the TOYOTA emblem is in the center of the grille, there are 3 little notches on each end that the emblem goes into, then it gets held in place by 4 screws. But on one end the notches were not cut out. It looked like someone attempted to cut out one of them but stopped. So i had to cut them out myself with a multi tool.
Also, Ive read that the oem grille had a little texture to it, like fine little lines in each little rectangle of the grille. The one I got is smooth (like a lot of the aftermarket grilles). Now, Im not certain that the oem grilles have a little texture to them, but thats what one person on youtube said. But then again, thats really not a big deal because it wouldnt be very noticeable anyway.

Thank you very much for the input. I did go with my gut after some more researching and ordered the tacogarage one, waiting on delivery now.

 

I have the grille from Mad Hornets showing up, but unfortunately I don't have a truck to put it in due to unfortunate circumstances. If anyone wants it, email me at cjwanner32@gmail.com. Just looking to get my money back since I can't return it.

 

I was just able to pickup an OEM pro grill online for ~185, just needed to supply a 2018 pro VIN which was easy enough to find online - shipped and arrived in 3 days.
