Hey all - Just interested in some input and opinion to the CMC done on my 19 Taco.

Running 285/75/16 Wildpeak AT3w tires. Did the CMC cut and weld a couple months back, but still have some rubbing on turns with bumps in both directions (not at full crank either). Not an issue if I'm not in a turn and there isn't a bump. It almost looks like it could be hitting the cab mount, but whenever it rubs it totally sounds like plastic and there isn't much evidence of the rub anywhere. Took a few pics to help. Used a tape measure as reference the line between the tires and CMC. Not measuring anything with it.

the cab mount wasn’t really cut back as far as I would like. Wasn’t fully welded either.

you also might be rubbing on the bottom of the fender flare. Probably will need to trim that back some.

Edit: as others have said, alignment might help as well

Getting and alignment and have caster maxed would be your next step

Like someone said, cab mount wasn’t cut far enough as well.

Check the wheel liner in front of the tire, or even on top. Rubbing the Cab Mount makes a distinct sound.

I had an alignment done a couple weeks ago. Can't recall what I did with the actual service document, but this was what I found on it. Definitely doesn't show any of the numbers though.

No evidence of rubbing in those areas.
