    Surprised at how clean the bed looks. Almost all of the beds from that era have rust in the usual locations.

    Agree. I really wish I would have kept my 85 Stock, I failed.

    I'm doing a bit of sacrilege now myself. Stabbing a pristine 86 XtraCab on a 96 Tacoma. Old school cool and a 3rz turbo ifs..

    I’m generally not a fan of cutting up these trucks but I gotta say you’ve kept just enough of the original look to be cool AF, hood, grill and just enough of the fenders to let me know what it is. I like it. :thumbsup:

    Here is my old 1987 Toyota pickup. It had a solid axle swap, four wheel disc brakes, e-lockers front and rear and a lot of other mods. Loved it but unfortunately sold it about a month ago.

    Edit: Hubs on the way to PA

    I haven’t seen/couldn’t find a section for the early trucks as far as parts are concerned. I have a set of manual hubs and a rear chrome original dealer accessorie tube bumper for free, pay the freight or pick up. Been cleaning up the shed and I’m never gonna need em..
