I use this one for all those things, cost a little more but the wide platform is great for large objects.

nice that one would also double for my motorcycles which is nice. Works fine for trans and other stuff nice double. def was looking for the cheaper price point but that does add some points in favor.

Also helps lower gas tank. Specially if you have an oversized one.

yah that is the initial reason why I was looking into it to make that easier and help with my HAF skids. Tired of lugging them around.

@Torspd and I have used that same trans jack more than 100 times. Really useful to have.

nice good to know. seems like a useful tool and better then trying to balance a regular jack on things. (at least for some of the items discussed)

That’s the one I have. It’s a little bit flimsy, but, does the job. I use it with a cordless drill in low gear which works out really well.

    Mods? Yes, oh yes..
Table lifts are incredibly helpful. I use mine under the truck without the handle upright.

Nice, would be more worried about the HF jack stands (hopefully not the bad ones) But mainly I was thinking for skids/gas tanks so I don't have to balance those things and torque in some acrobatic fashion. I will either go with this or impossibly the moto one since that does give me dual use.

I just dropped my tank today, only used jack with a piece of 1x4 and two square pieces of plywood that I use for my floor jacks. Sketchy AF but it worked lol

Those are borrowed! My buddy uses them for his F350. If they’re fine for that beast, they can hold a little Tacoma.

They had a little issue of them breaking a few months back so for me HF jack stands are not on my safe list for now.

Are those HF 6 ton jacks cracking at the welds ? I’ve used mine numerous times with no issue . However ,I’m gonna get replacements, I really dont want to be featured on darwin awards.

Some are. Check their website and compare with your model number. I had 2 of my 4 get recalled. Couldn’t get replacements. I hear they’re in stock now though.
