I have the Kicker CompRT 12" subs in my truck and noticed at one point they were rubbing and used some towels at the bottom of the seat to wedge it better because I thought it was just shifting while driving but that was not it. Long story short it rubbed through the passive radiator. Funny part is the actual sub wasn't chewed up at all.

I used this flexible repair from Lowes it contains MEK (methyl ethyl ketone) this will "melt" or bond better with the rubber the sub is made out of. I used a small jeweler and and coated the front let that dry and did the inside/rear of the battle in small drying coats.

I bought the comp grill off Amazon. Only got one because I wasn't sure if there was enough space for it but there was. Didn't even have to smash the seat back it fit perfectly. So I'll order another to be 100% covered.

**NOTE** You will need 10/32 bolts that are 2" for the grill as the ones that come with the truck box are only 1".

Hope this post helps others... In short even if you buy the 10" I would just spend an extra $40 on the grills and not have to worry about this.
