Hey folks! So I’m shopping around for some running boards on my 2011 double cab. I’m seeing a lot of people saying the fit is the same for all models through 2021. Can anyone confirm?

Well, when you punch in your yr and body style of your Tacoma on a aftermarket parts site, you should only see what fits. Why do you care if it fits all models thru 2021. If your trying to buy used, then you need the model of truck and yr it came off and compare with the parts site with your yr and model. And welcome to TW

I sold the tube steps off my 2012 to a guy with a 3rd Gen and they bolted right up.

You'll need to buy steps for the same cab configuration though (regular cab, access cab, double cab short bed, double cab long bed).

Just goes to show you can't always trust parts site.

Bought mine used off of craigslist. Think guy had them on a 2013 double cab. Take some getting used to when exiting vehicle as your leg hits them.
