Re-Badging in cold weather

I have debadged my tacoma, painted them, and lined the backs with the 3m interior/exterior tape. They are all ready to be placed back on my truck but my only concern is my current weather. It has been 30-40 degrees with light rain and 100% humidity. I didnt see anything on the tape about the temp but it didnt seem like this would be the best. Has anyone done this in this type of weather? I dont want them falling off a few monthes from now.

 

maybe warm it up with a heat gun or blow dryer first just to be sure

 

I de-badged on a really cold night and melted my badges trying to get the tape to release, I should have been patient but they were like scabs and I had to get them off

 

just wait until the weather warms up, sounds like you have no garage. thats your best bet. if you put them on now they probably wont fall off but you never know. Besides you get the debadged look for awhile.
