hello... im looking for advice on a rear spring upgrade in my truck... i have a 2014 double cab 73000 miles on it... currently in the process of buying a bed rack and bed rack tent, I know this will add a few hundred pounds to the back end.
The truck seems to me like even with a little bit of weight in the back it sags .. so im sure this will make it sag a lot I have been looking into a set of the OLD MAN EMU rear leaf spring packs, What, if anything else will i need to install with all new spring packs. ?

I took mine to a spring shop and had them add 2 more leafs. It raised the back end so much, I had to lift the front 2 1/4"

I bought some Dobinsons HD leafs(112's) rated for 880lbs. I had a camper shell and decked system(400+lbs), full skids, and sliders. No complaints at all. PM @Crikeymike he's my Dobinsons go-to

I have since removed the camper shell and sold the decked b/c I built a camp trailer. It didn't raise the truck any, but it is stiffer now. I may even swap the 111's(I think 440lb rated) from the trailer to the truck. The trailer is lower b/c it's spring under for the moment until I get matching tires for both the truck and trailer.

You are doing the work? Replace the bushings while in there. Also consider a angled shim and new aftermarket bump stop if lifting. I also replaced the shackel because it was cheap. Get a real ratchet band strap to assist reinstalling the axle.

I just put on the Icon 3 leaf progressive add a leafs along with Bilstein shocks. I ended up with 1&5/8" lift in the rear, that's with the camper shell on it. It sits about the same rake as stock now, rides firmer but without the annoying bounce off of the overload spring. I think this option would be good for you. The hardest part was grinding the rivet off one of the existing springs, the rivet that holds the pack alignment clip.
I like OME springs too and have their complete lift on the wife's truck. I think if you went the OME route it would be like a previous post mentioned about lifting it too high. I believe the OME pack would lift the rear 2.5"
I purchased the springs and shocks several months ago,but recently hear the shocks are hard to get at the moment. I had a warranty claim on my Jeeps shocks and they aren't expected until mid August.
When iget back on my phone I'll post a picture.
Edit, both springs require grinding off the rivet.

Not the rear most clip but the clip20210614_101244.jpg 20210613_162547.jpg in the rear portion of spring. A hot wrench would have been nice. I cut the side of it first so it didn't try to get away from me after the rivet is gone. I check the ride height again after a couple of drives and now lift is 1&3/8" lift.

Agreed, OME dakars are terrible in my opinion, mine didn't last long before they were trash (maybe 12 months max), plus they non stop squeak (tied everything, fluid film, bike ties between leafs, etc). Before covid you could pick them up for $100/leaf pack (for a reason).

Pony up the money and get something better quality, I'd go for Icon RXT at a minimum. I put deavers on mine and haven't looked back.
