When I back up and turning left and I go over a bump I can feel a slight bump that feels and seems like its either suspension or steering related. Everything looks fine from what I can tell. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue

Check the lower control arm bolts.
Mine would “pop/clunk” when doing what you described.
    Tightened them up, noise stopped.

They’ve done it 2x now. Both times it happened was a few months after an alignment.
I don’t feel it is the alignment shops fault. Other guys have had the same problem.
I just get them “good and tight”.

My noise like that was either the LCA ball joint or bushings. Changed the LCA’s and it’s gone.

I'm having a similar problem when I make really tight turns. If I remember right there are two bolts on each side holding the lca in place. Those are the bolts to tighten, correct?

Thanks. I don't think there's anything wrong with my LCAs cause they are only a couple years old. I lifted my truck and never noticed until a month or so after my alignment, come to think of it. Hopefully that's all it is.

I haven't got a chance to check mine yet. Its wierd because it doesn't do it all the time. And sometimes I can feel it in the floor.

    Definitely sounds like cam bolts

Mine did this, exactly, even the loosened two times thing. I used to check them every couple of months but haven't for about a year now. Now that I think of it, I probably will tomorrow night.

Lower control arm at the frame clicking/clunking. Like I stated before, it’s either the LCA ball joint or bushing. Bushing=cam bolts.

So I checked the torque on my lower control arm bolts and there were correctly torqued. Checked for movement in my lower control arm and found a slight movement in the driver side lower control rear bushing. Think that might be my noise. Gonna just replace the whole control arm more than likely.

Yeah thats high. Rockauto has some at a decent price. Probably going to wait and replace everything on the front end suspension related at one time. I want everything greaseable that can be.

I don't remember on that one, but I think so. I could feel the cab mount bushing like it was hitting my left foot. That was more of a Tink sound though

I paid $258 per side for OEM from Toyota. You can find deals if you search.

No one makes more reliable ball joints than Toyota for your LCA… aftermarket might only last 50k while OE usually go 150k. I know it’s just the bushing you’re after but usually everyone recommends OE here simply for the quality of the LBJ.
