Just the little 88P! I've had it for about 3 years now, but hopefully I'll go with a little custom built in either ARB or larger viair under the hood/

The new hose setup makes this small compressor so much better - I'd assume the 400p would be lightning fast too.

This was my thought too, it just seemed like way too much shit for something that really isn't THAT much of a pain to begin with. I'd say it's worth it if you enjoy this type of setup...but I didn't know I'd like it until I actually built it haha. You guys are more than welcome to check it out/test run it the next time we're together.

I used excess hose to make a single line for days I'm just not feeling like wrangling it. Overall it feels much quicker/made my smaller compressor seem like it was airing up faster.

I used the Haltec chucks which seem very popular with these setups. 1/4 female fyi.

Keep an eye on the little compressor's temperature since it will be running continuously to fill the four tires.

Once you get a faster pump (i.e. something that takes less than a minute per tire), wrangling with the hoses will be the most time-consuming part of airing up, at least in my experience. I had a Viair 85P, then upgraded to an AliExpress twin-piston.

How much power does the Twin draw compared with the Single? Not quite sure which way I’m gonna go.

The AliExpress twin draws 90A vs. 50A for the single. Both have appropriately sized wiring and battery clips.

Since I rewired mine to a marine trolling motor plug, I used a 100A Eaton circuit breaker.

The 88P is rated for 1.3 CFM at 20-30 psi: https://www.viaircorp.com/portables/88p

The AliExpress twin is rated at 300L/min or 10.6 CFM at 0 psi and achieves about 5.6 CFM at 20-30 psi in actual use. So you'd need 4 Viair 88Ps to achieve the same speed, one for each tire.

The AliExpress twin is actually faster than two Viair 400Ps. Where the Chineseium quality shows up is the current draw. The Viair compressors are more efficient - two 400Ps draw only 50A, whereas the AliExpress twin draws 90A. The extra power is turned into heat - the air pumped into your tire is hotter.

Hotter air = more volume, further inflating the tire?

    They are cheating!

Every compressor heats up the air, and the tire itself will be hot, so the variation between different air compressors will be lost in the wash. Just air up 2-3 psi above your usual cold inflation pressure. I usually do 32 psi front / 30 psi rear, so they drop to 30 psi front / 28 psi rear when cooled down.
Ardbeg is mostly slow crawling. I typically do 17 psi front / 16 psi rear, so they drop to 15 psi front / 14 psi rear the next morning, and never had an issue in the past 4 years on stock narrow 16x7" wheels like yours. According to this video, the narrow wheels could be aired down very low (like 8 psi) without popping a bead:
