Good looking set up Maverick! What WDH are you running? I've been thinking of going with an Anderson, but am still doing research, gathering info and reading reviews to make the best decision.

 

Is that the ones with chains? I have seen a few people have issues getting level with those. I have used both drawtight and blueox. I prefer the blueof for the built in sway control and little external grease.

 

Yep, the one with chains....main gripe I read is it can be hard to attach if at an angle and not pretty even. Supposedly the Anderson has built in sway control with WD

 

Finally finish my camper trailer build from scratch. Put the RTT on yesterday. Test drive and beer run today at the grocery store LOL

 

Damn, i need this. Tired of being trapped with tent on roof and deployed.

 

Between this and not wanting to stick a RTT on my daily driver, I feel I made a good choice!

 

Yeah man, it looks perfect. Does the rtt platform telescope up or is it stationary?

 

It telescopes up 14” with the help of 4 gas struts.

It has removable jacks that extend to 31” on both rear corners.

Tow an Aliner which is about 1500 lbs dry. Easy and quick to set up.

Thanks. It is a Yakima Skyline base rack that attaches to the fixed anchor points on the roof. The kayak rack is a Yakima Jaylow. Works well since I cannot put long items in the bed while towing.

 

Just saw this, but yea, it's an Anderson I believe. It's a chain type setup. It works great thus far, not sure on model, as it came with the trailer. Very easy to use and setup, although I have experience with them already so I'm not exactly new to it.

 

Agreed, your kayaks look good up there...I too searched for a rack to use for the boats once we got our Epro. Went with Thule bars and the Malone 5-way system to hold the tandem, two singles or even the canoe.
