I'm cheap and can't bring myself to spend $50 for a sunshade. Only because a $5 sunshade from a local store works well. Just cut to fit if too big. Tacoma windshield seems to be much smaller than previous trucks and cars.

The sunshade is made of a stiff material (probably cardboard) when folded it’s about six to eight inches wide. The length is as tall as the windshield. I keep my shade behind the seat when not in use.

This is what it looks like folded up.

And a lot more affordable too. I could probably buy the material in bulk from an RV store, have a template cut out based on my 3G that accommodates the GoPro mount as well, and ship for less than $40. Hmmm...

We can't put any tint of any kind on the windshield in CA.

Did you put the tint on the windshield?

Picked mine up off Amazon for $16. Comes with a storage pouch and fits perfect in the rear pocket of the passenger seat.
