Resonates so strongly with me. Can't get fucking COVID at lowes but the small landscaping store I used to go was in the local news for not strictly enforcing 6ft spacing.

Whens the last time you were at a Lowe's and any employee made an effort to enforce covid restrictions? I've never seen it.

@SouthernStyleOffRoad Personally I'm not a big fan of the "Raptor" rough texture. Your bumpers are powder coated, are they smooth? Can someone show a close up picture of the powder coat finish
    thank you.

Thank you for the picture. I wonder how hard it would be to get my order change to bare metal. @SouthernStyleOffRoad

If I had to do it again, I would get bare metal as well. The PC SSO used for mine (full bumper delivered in Sept 2020) seems thin and I was not a fan of the shiny/gloss finish to it.

There's definitely been a change in PC quality when comparing my 3 year old SSO Slimline to yours. My PC seems more robust, not as shiny and better texture. I would also advocate ordering it bare. Also avoids potential shipping damage to the paint.

I got mine bare metal. Locally, I had many options for color / finish and the price was hard to beat. Support local businesses!

SSO just called me back and changed my order for me. Very encouraging. Morgan at SSO was great and told me I would be refunded for cost of PC. Now that's great service

    Speaking with someone?? Ewww....

I'm joking but ya, calling can get things resolved quicker for shops that are staffed appropriately.

just piling on to give props to the customer service with these guys. Yes, I am waiting a little longer for my bumper, but I get it, out of SSO's hands given the state of the world. What makes the difference is communication.

It's like when you're stuck in a traffic jam and you see the sign that tells you how long it will take to get to your exit. Sucks you are in a traffic jam, but you feel better and you can plan accordingly. Without the sign (i.e., communication), anxiety and stress kicks in.

And when it comes to communication, these guys have been great, especially Lee! The proactive emails on status are awesome, and Lee always gets back to me quickly to answer my questions. He's shipping my bumper next week and I am pumped!

The bumper was delivered last week and I got it installed yesterday. I'm super happy with it. Well worth the wait! 20210731_123244.jpg 20210731_123204.jpg

Looks awesome. What winch? And how nerve wracking is it to cut the bumper?

Cutting the bumper is way easier than you think. I was apprehensive but it was a piece of cake compared to say replacing the headlights.
