New skid showed up today and unfortunately it doesn't f-ing line up correctly. Anyone have this issue with the BPF front skid? The alignment on the skid is so bad that it hinders any shot of adjusting the trucks mounting points.

In addition, I decided to jump on the pro grill boat. I figure if I don't like it I'll post it up on TWM. One thing I found odd was the weather strip, I'm assuming they want you to glue it on? Not very down with that considering the beating it'll take up front. So I ordered some 3M + weather striping to replace the one included. I also plan to slap some white paint on the ugly gray letters at some point.

Can't tell if someone tried to steal my tailgate today or the pop and lock lever/handle decided to kind of give up on life... The lever/handle is completely flimsy now and flaps in the wind lol. Knowing how temperamental these things are I've always given it TLC.

Kind of stumped because it still locks & opens and nothing looks broken.

If someone did try to steal it and got by the pop n lock, I'm glad I have @christian06 's ATD.

Installed the Pelfreybilt front skid today and I couldn’t be happier with it. The additional two skids will be installed on Friday. Really looking forward to it, and thanks to @Mista_G and @GHOST SHIP for the help. Now someone sell me the gas tank skid already!!!

Drove it up to my Niece's house to fix her husbands car. 2004 Malibu, no start.

Replaced the starter, still won't start. Bad replacement starter. Going to put the second starter in today after work.

On the way home I saw another regular cab second gen. I couldn't tell what year it was because he sped past me and was driving pretty quick.
It was lifted but it had a ladder rack on it and handyman decals all over the truck.

Drawers look good! Looks a like like mine but I am going to be redoing mine soon. Going with poly slides this time.

I added the exact same grill, and yes the weather stripping was a serious PIA. I went to the local box store and got some heavy duty water proof super glue. Took some time and holding your mouth right but worked well and has been through rain and shine for 2 years with no issues.

Done for today as I wait for my wheel bearing to be delivered this afternoon. About to head to Home Depot and peruse the aisles for a suitable material to make a one piece splash guard.
