Dictation to text message suddenly gone!

    I have a 2020 Tacoma with JBL. Up until about one week ago, I could respond to text messages received by hitting "Dictation" then speaking. Once I was done saying my reply, I would hit send and the text I just dictated would send.

    This option has suddenly disappeared. I still receive texts via my JBL, but the option to dictate a reply is gone. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

    do you have a I phone, there has been chatter here about upgrading to i phone 12 or updating the IOS and stuff like this is the result.
