This market is crazy! Have you all priced out KBB market for your trucks recently just for shits n giggles? A 6yr old truck can fetch more than I paid for when new. I know its just a KBB Trade-in estimate, but still. Too bad all the new stuff is marked up even more

Check those against KBB instant cash offer or Carvana/Vroom/Carmax to see a realistic offer. You may find those other "online dealers" offering even more.

Just sold 2007 OR DC manual with 160K for 17k to a private party!!! Almost 60% of my sticker 14 years ago. Totally nuts. I have local friends renting their cars out for $150 per day around here - I don't think there is a rental car to be had in Montana right now.

Damn! Yeah rental car companies are panicking since they sold their stock of vehicles last year in expectation of a demand drop but everything recovered too quickly and they started buying new models. Combine that with a chip/car shortage and it fuels the current supply disaster.

Yup, and the supply disaster becomes more noticeable daily. Don't recall ever having sticker shock while grocery shopping before yesterday. Meat!!!!

I'm ready to cash in on this. I've had my '15 for 9 months and I just don't like the truck, my local CarMax offer was for $300 more than I paid for the truck last year. I think by next week I'll be back to just having my '99 4runner.

I'm in the same boat. I like the truck but don't like it. I'm currently eyeing a few FJ's and 4runners but they are like gold right now

Damn yeah they aint for everyone. And honestly the domestic trucks have a lot more tech, power, and mpg if thats your goal. Reliability is the biggest factor but Ford seems to be doing pretty decent lately. Its a good time to sell. But that also means a terrible time to buy. 3rd gen 4runners are great too.

I see a GX in your future :p 5th gen 4runners are an arm and a leg right now and characteristics are very similar to the Tacomas. Same powertrain.

Good. Want anything that can do the same or more with updated buttons? $40k.

Renting out a manual truck seems sketchy

Why is a same year car $6k and not $16k?
Because in the 100k+ it takes a Taco to break 0 times, the car has broken significantly 10 times. Regardless of pandemic or not
with each repair bill almost the price of the car itself

Paid 26k for mine with 45xxx 3 years ago

KBB says 31k holy shit. And that is not including all the cool stuff I have on it.

I think I'm going to just to....................

    Keep it!
Let's face it these trucks are awesome. Extremely reliable and perfect truck for trails. I have owned many vehicles and sold many and I know I will regret selling this one

This isn't my 1st Yota truck, but definitely the newest. The seats just kill it for me, nothing else that I can do about it. I rode in a TRD version with the "upgraded" seats and they were just about as uncomfortable. I'm 6', 230 lbs so I'm sure that I'm at the edge of what the seats were designed for. It IS a reliable vehicle so far, the resale value is showing it's strength right now, it gets OK gas mileage for a small truck and it's easy to drive/park, but with frame rot issues, overly weak lower control arm mounting points, weak t-case, ect.. It ends up just not being the truck that I need it to be.

I absolutely love the community here, it reminds me of my VW days at VWVortex.com

I had to look and my 07 DCSB 6MT @ 120k came in at $14.5k for good condition. $1500 more than a KBB check 2 yrs ago. Not gonna do anything since I love the truck, but at least I can say my net worth went up for once!
