Yes, most bro dozer tacomas that offroad use traction bars if they use giant blocks.

Ideally you use a giant leaf pack, then a 1" spacer if needed. But even that can wrap.

Did you test drive the vehicle before buying? Or ar least hope you didn't pay extra for the lift.

    Why? That’s a quality 2WD lift.

Yes, of course I test drove it. There were no issues. I already had the Methods on my 2nd gen so I kept them and put them on this when I purchased. It had some ugly Fuel wheels with 34” street tires that had minimal life left.

    A few.
Looks like 5100s but the rear shock boots come on top on the 3rd gen version. Possibly a sec gen 5100.

Most people here will hate on anything that isn’t a full suspension lift. Even tho these lifts are perfectly fine for what most people need/want (lifted look).

Yeah I dont see anything wrong with the lift itself (minus the blocks). It's just setup in a way thats a little extra.

Thank you. I had a 4x4 and did not use it once.
I am admittedly a fashion over function guy. I love the look, but do not necessarily need it.

this is the kit that Maxtrac sells, but uses 5100 rather than the lift spacer.

Thank you for this. Using the flattest ground I can find, it looks like the front is 6" - 6 .5", and the rear is 4" - 5".

So it turns out you cannot use hub centric rings with Method wheels that have a center cap the pushes in from the back.

So I rotated my tires (front to back) and took extra care when putting the lugs back on (extended thread) and it fixed the problem!

I still get a small steering wheel shake when braking and a slight pull to the right so the next step is to get an alignment at a shop that knows how to deal with a lifted truck.
I originally took it to Firestone because it’s close to my house but all they told me is that it is in spec and didn’t fix anything.
