Clear Raptor Lights

I recently installed some clear Raptor Lights on my 2018 4R. Love 'em. I decided to do the same for my 2016 Taco...So I ordered some from A-Zon ...Turned out they would not fit. My Grille is a Factory Pro (Not a knock off). Not wanting to repeat this process. Am looking for recommendations. Want -Bright White (same color as the stock DRL's). Any recommendations? I received them and they don't fit!. I sent them back to tacomalifestyle along with pictures and measurements. I purchased the Pro-Grille for my 2016 Sport at the local Toyota Dealer. This was long before there were any knock-offs. Perhaps the present grilles sold by Toyota, or others, are different ...I don't know. On the tacomalifestyle lights there are 4-latches that are designed to snap into the grille. The problem is, the grille member in mine is over 3/8 " this is too long for their snap-on piece- This would have required removing the grille and cutting this part 16 times! To their credit, they admited that their lights do-not fit the OEM Grille. So now I am back to Square-One. If anyone wants all the details, email me at k7cr@blarg.net and I'll send it to you. In the mean-time- I want Clear LED Rapter Lights for my Taco - Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, Clay

 

Hm mine are in an OEM grille (purchased in 17). I’ll have to go take a look. Mine have been in for a while now with no issues.

 

The ones I received could be pushed into the grille. However they would not 'snap in' because the length of the four snap-in catches on the sides of the lights is too short to snap into the inside of my grille. (Hard to explain without a drawing) I will keep looking ...Next time I will make sure the seller understands the issue. - Clay

 

One of my raptors lights just went out. If you drive washboards a lot, maybe think about beefing up the strain relief where the wire comes out of the plastic housing. I'll add a better strain relief on my new set. Just a raptor light PSA.
