I personally dont mind them too much. Maybe the
Lower trims wont have all that.

Yeah and so what about what?

Sales went up massively for the former two and kept the Camry relevant, so clearly the public is happy or I guess hypnotized by great marketing and better tech.

Everyone pretty much is getting more aggressive, while Ram ironically who helped start it all in 1993, toned down their big rig look for 2019, outside of the TRX and HDs. The current Ram 1500 is much softer looking than previous generations.

    dodge_ram_1500_sport_regular_cab.jpg dodge_ram_6500_truck.jpg ram_1500_rebel_blue_streak_crew_cab_57.jpg ram_1500_472.jpg ram_1500_trx_launch_edition_48.jpg

Everyone else doing the opposite and going more intense on their designs.

Give it a black roof and black spoiler! It’ll make it look faster! Let’s not forget the red seats!

Edit - oh and the “quad” exhaust with 2 fake tips

I feel like this is exactly as someone mentioned well over 2 years ago, who saw a private video of these being tested uncovered. It looks like a giant Tacoma as he said and because of the powertrain, that works just fine I guess.

It no longer has the visual heft of the current truck in my opinion. It looks too much like an upsized Tacoma indeed, with a twist on the 4Runner fascia. No longer a heavyweight in appearance, but more lean muscle with aggressive details. Guess I need to wait to see every trim level and more angles to be certain.

You saying that you want a 3rd gen. Right after saying your employees truck looked “great”.

Doubtful, wait til the twin turbo hybrid specs are released. They’re going to smash the f150 powerboost.
Likely 515 hp and 600 lb ft of torque in the 25mpg average range.

I would love to have a 3rd gen, and there are things I don't like about my 2nd gen and the 3rd gen. Wish I never sold my 1st gen, regret it to this day. It's also fun to throw gas on the fire sometimes.

I drove through the lot of a local Toyota dealer this morning and saw a new Tundra sitting there. 20210619_073214.jpg

Mostly 340,000 miles of wear on the '96. A sharp looking Gasshole for the '21
I'm going to reserve judgement until I see an antiaircraft gun mounted in it, some trucks rock that look better than others.

It most likely will have the same V6 twin turbo as in the Land Cruiser. More powerful than the current V8 so it will be no slouch.

The looks of the 3rd gen are one of the major reasons I purchased it. Couldn't stand the looks of the 2nd gens and the 1st gens have only grown on me recently. Honestly I don't think there's been a Tundra design I've been a huge fan of at all.

No. They have to be referred to by the truck they are on from the factory. At best they are now Tundra lights.

Got rid of the big trailer several months ago so... maybe? I only have small trailer and tractor left so no real weight above 3K.

I have a newer 2019 Tundra. I like it and it looks like the 6' 4" 260 lb MMA fighters I watched the other night. This Tundra looks like the 6'4" 205 lb MMA fighters. I like the new one too.
