2018 SR5 brake controller question

    So I have a 2018 SR5 double cab. I have the 7 pin trailer plug so I assume I have the tow package. I can not for the life of me find the plug for a brake controller. I looked under the kick panel and nothing. Is it possible to not have one?

    If it’s a V6 you should have it. The first time I looked for mine I didn’t find it either. Finally, after a few tries, found the connector hiding next to the firewall 1/2 way up the KP, sticking out of and behind a wire loom. Not obvious but if you feel around you’ll locate it. Looks like:
