    All stock, baby!
Just picked up my '11 Tacoma TRD Sport Double Cab Longbed today. 111K miles on it, in what I'd call "KBB Very Good" condition. This combo has been hard to find on Craigslist at a reasonable price; any that appeared quickly disappeared. I bought this one knowing it spent some time in the Midwest and has some work that needs to be done, but a Toyota dealer inspected it and I looked over the undercarriage pretty good and the rust looks quite manageable.

I'm doing the front brakes myself (full caliper/pad/rotor replacement), probably the struts and shocks too as they're original (looking at the KYB Strut Plus). Battery leaked acid all over so spent a couple of hours doing the clean/prep/rust convert/paint thang. And of course replaced the battery.

At some point I'll take it to my local Toyota specialist who took care of my '06 Highlander Hybrid and have him research the service records and take care of any needed service that I don't want to or shouldn't mess with in the driveway like fluid changes (tranny, differential, etc.), firmware updates, etc. The recall stuff was all covered at the dealer recently so it's got new leaf springs and the frame got a clean bill of health.

The clear coat is starting to go. I'm going to see if I can prep and spray some 2K clear to prolong the life of the paint for a while longer in the spots that need it.

I bought this as a replacement for the Highlander. It's back in IL with my daughter for a couple of months, when she drives it home I'll sell it. It got 29 MPG on the last part of the trip which is pretty damned good for 200K miles. I won't be putting a ton of miles on this, it's going to mainly be used as a regular pickup but my wife wanted a vehicle we can go up to the mountains in for cross-country skiing so I got the 4WD.

I'm very appreciative of all of the passive advice I've already gotten by searching the forums. Looking forward to some active participation going forward.
